Minorities Now Represent 30% of U.S. Population

Hispanics, Asians and African-Americans now represent 30% of the U.S. population and annual purchasing power in excess of $1 trillion, according to Multicultural Marketing Resources’ 2002-2003 The Source Book of Multicultural Experts. Asians have the highest purchasing power, while the Hispanic population is far exceeding population growth, increasing 57% since 1990.
